Windows 10: I have an Asus USB BT400 Bluetooth adaptor and it wont connect - can anyone help?

I have an Asus USB BT400 Bluetooth adaptor and it wont connect, i run windows 10 64 bit with a modern PC. It is visible and comes up in the options when searching for a device, I click connect yet it doesnt connect.


I am trying to pair Sony wireless headphones.


I have reinstalled the latest drivers


I have ran trouble shooting and it always says it found a problem - checked Bluetooth Radio Status and fixed.


Thinking its been resolved i restart and the same happens.


The PC is visible to connect via bluetooth but i cant even connect my iphone or other devices


Is it a setting or is something wrong?

I am running windows 10 on a motherboard that does not have bluetooth on it I had bought a asus usb bt400 dongle and it worked fine until I believe this last window 10 april 2018 update. now it wont connect to anything. I tried reinstalling the 2017 drivers
from asus to no avail everytime time I toggle the Bluetooth off I get a blue screen saying a problem with blu***.sys driver. Any ideas how to fix it.

This issue might be caused by incompatibility of your Asus USB-BT400 and your LG soundbar. What we suggest is to contact the manufacturer of of these devices.

Hello, I bought an ASUS USB-BT400 Bluetooth Adaptor to enable me to connect my new Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse. Everything appears to work fine whilst I'm using it. If I walk away for any period greater than about 30 mins, I return to find that the Adaptor
has gone to sleep and will not easily wake up. How to I set it to not sleep, alternatively, how do I wake it up without the mouse available. I also find that the Bluetooth adaptor is roughly the last item to boot up, meaning that I'm mouse less until the boot
has completely finished. I'd have bought a Microsoft Bluetooth Adaptor to run my Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse, but apparently they don't make one!
