Windows 10: I have an external HP dvd565 DVD Writer that Windows 10 doesn't recognize

Discus and support I have an external HP dvd565 DVD Writer that Windows 10 doesn't recognize in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I am trying to use lightscribe on my Dell Windows 10 pc using an external HP dev565.     I have an external HP dvd565 DVD Writer that Windows 10 doesn't recognize


    I am trying to use lightscribe on my Dell Windows 10 pc using an external HP dev565. The drive works but it is not recognized as a lightscribe device. Is there anything I can do to make it work?

    Surface 7 PRO/Windows 10 PRO doesn't recognize Verbatim External Slimline CD/DVD Writer device

    I have a MS Surface 7 PRO
    running
    Windows 10 and it doesn't recognize my Verbatim external Slimline CD/DVD writer
    device. I plugged the device directly on my Surface 7 PRO with no luck; also plugged it on MS ducking station and no luck either.

    I had an HP ProBook 4540s running Windows 8.1 about 2 years ago where Verbatim external Slimline CD/DVD writer device was working fine. As soon as I upgraded my
    HP ProBook 4540s to Windows 10 operating system, my Verbatim external Slimline CD/DVD writer device no longer works. It is a
    plug and play device and it doesn't work with Windows 10. I called Verbatim, they assured me there is nothing wrong with the device. They exchanged the device by shipping me a new Verbatim external Slimline CD/DVD writer.

    I just bought Microsoft Surface 7 PRO tablet device running Windows 10 PRO O/S and it doesn't recognize my Verbatim device.
    Any suggestions please.

    Hp pavillion compatibility with a Memorex external DVD writer

    Is there a driver available to download that will make my pavilion recognize my external DVD writer?

    BD/DVD EXTERNAL WRITER NOT RECOGNIZED ON COMPUTER BY WINDOWS 10

    I have a DIG-79102 BD/DVD WRITER when I connect it to my usb ports on my Toshiba computer with windows 10 it's not recognized and does not function. I've searched for it on the computer and it does not show up or detected. I do get the sound when external
    hardware is connected like my external hard drive.
