Windows 10: I have an extra BD-ROM drive showing on my list

Hello!I wanted to put something on my HDD and I saw that I have an extra BD-ROM drive. What is the thing with it or how can I remove it because I don't use it.

BD-ROM DRIVE means Blu-Ray Disk Read Only Memory Drive. It usually appears when you install a Virtual Drive using softwares like Daemon Tools, PowerISO, etc, and it is used to mount .ISO files and many other data formats.

Are you using any virtual drive software? You can use that software to remove the BD drives or you can go to disk manager under device manager and disabled them.

How to permanently delete a BD-Rom Drive?

BD-ROM DRIVE means Blu-Ray Disk Read Only Memory Drive. This usually shows when you install a Virtual Drive using software like Daemon Tools, PowerISO, etc. to mount .ISO files and many other data formats. Do you use any virtual software? If so, you can use
that to remove BD drives or you can follow these steps to disable in Device Manager

1. Press Windows key + X

2. Click Device Manager

3. Expand CD/DVD ROM

4. Right-click on the driver where it says something like "Virtual"

5. Choose to disable
