    I have an HP


    I am running Windows 11 22H2 on an HP Pavilion Laptop 15t-eg200. The Widgets window only works on the laptop display. When docked and displaying to HP monitors, the Widgets Window is grey and does not display the individual widgets. However, when clicked on, the Widgets is opened in an Edge browser. I have a Windows 10 HP laptop that works fine on the same dock and set of displays. Please help me understand what different and what settings may need to be changed. Thank you.

    I understand your concern about accessing HP simple pass after upgrading to Windows 10. We will help you with this issue.

    • Do let us know the make and model of your computer?
    • Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

    Try the below steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

    Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

    Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

    • Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
    • Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
      HP Recovery Manager opens.
    • Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
      HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application

    How to remove "HP Connected Remote" as a sign in account ?

    • Is your computer connected to a domain network?
    HP Connected Remote is an app that comes preinstalled on select Windows HP computers. I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it resolves this issue.

    • On the Windows 10 Start screen, type hp connected remote.
    • Click HP Connected Remote from the Apps search results.
    • Click Settings, and make sure Enable HP Connected Remote is turned On.

    Sorry for the delay in response.

    We would suggest you to runt the Power troubleshooter and check.

    Try to run the troubleshooter and check.

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search box and hit
      Enter.
    • Select View all from the left pane and select Power.
    • Follow the on-screen troubleshooter and try the steps.
    We would also suggest you to update the firmware of the BIOS and install the chipset drivers and check.

    For steps related to updating firmware for the BIOS and chipset drivers, you may contact the HP.
