I have an Intel i7-7700 CPU with plenty of RAM and storage. I know my desktop is capable of running Windows 11, but my CPU is not on the "list of approved CPUs", so Health Check won't permit the upgrade. Wondering how I can install Windows 11 on my PC or get my CPU tested. I'm not ready to buy a new tower yet!!

I am currently running Windows 10 Pro (Version 21H1) on my Alienware Aurora R6 Desktop PC. When I run the compatibility test, the PC meets all the requirements, except the processor (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz[Cores 4] [Logical processors 8]). The test indicates this process doesn't meet the requirements, yet this processor is listed on the approved list.

Overqualified CPU for Windows 11? Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz

My Desktop meets all requirements EXCEPT for the Intel CPU = Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz.

The CPU seems more than required and yet is not supported. WHY? Will it be supported in the future??

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz -- when will this be available as my processor is only 4 years old and has much better performance than many others that are allowed.
