Windows 10: I have an issue installing KB502944, keep getting error 0x80070017. Any advice?

I've been able to install the other updates dropped yesterday but the cumulative update 22H2 KB5029244 keeps coming back with an error message, 0x80070017.I have tried to install it manually using Microsoft update catalogue, but that came up with the same result. I tried setting BITS and Windows update service to automatic, still nothing, and I'm not sure about the other advice I found online. Do you have any suggestions that won't compromise any of my files or involve me having to reinstall windows 10.

Disk Issues/ Error 0x80070017

A quick question before we proceed:

What is the exact error code that you receive? Is it 0x80070017 or 0x80070012?

This issue may occur if there is a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) failure during the update process. This failure may occur if the received file is not the file that is expected by Windows Update

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if it help:

Method 1:

I suggest you to run the Chkdsk.exe tool to check the disk for errors. Follow the steps below for the same:

• 
  Press Windows key+ R
  
• 
  Type chkdsk C: press Enter
  

Method 2:

You may also rename the Windows Update components folder and verify the result.

a) Press "Windows key + X" and click "Command Prompt (Admin)".

b) Type "net stop wuauserv" and press enter.

c) Type "rename c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution softwaredistribution.old" and press enter.

d) Type "net start wuauserv"and press enter.

So I just started having this issue yesterday in regarding doing pc updates and I keep having the same Error code know as 0x80070017. I looked online and tried the suggested fixes but none of them work on my end.
