Windows 10: I have an issue with my Temp file. It is not listed and any program I try to download...

Am having several problems. Am trying to determine why: 1 can't connect a bluetooth device. It is showing in Device Manager but says it is not connected. 2 I have also been getting a Win driver error3 Download error "Error writing temporary file, Make sure your temp folder is valid" - I don't see my Temp folder, does it need to be recreated

Thanks for the reply. I did what you have suggested. But the thing is jump
list items are shortcuts to the files and/or folders not the files and/or folders themselves. Now the %temp%, temp and prefetch folders are empty but the links to jump-list still remains. So now when I click on them, it shows me this.



Can you suggest something else?

Temp Files : Runaway Creation

Windows Temporary files are created by the operating system during the normal course of its running when there may not be enough memory allocated for the task.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to delete temporary files nad check if it helps:

Step 1

• Press Windows key + R
• Type temp and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

Step 2

• Press Windows key + R
• Type %temp% and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

Step 3

• Press Windows key + R
• Type prefetch and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

These temp files will not delete

• Press Windows key + R key together, to open RUN command Window.
• Type "temp" in the RUN Command Window, to open temp folder and then delete the files and folders inside the temp folder.

If the issue persists, follow method 2.

Method 2:

• Press Windows key + R key together, to open RUN command Window.
• Type "%temp%" in the RUN Command Window, to open temp folder and then delete the files and folders inside the temp folder.
  

If the issue persists, follow method 3.

Method 3:

I suggest you to boot the computer to Safe Mode, then perform disk cleanup on Windows 10 and check, if it works.
