Windows 10: I have an unusual problem since the last update. Auto-tabbing.

Can anyone suggest a fix for my 'auto-tabbing' problem?

This has been occurring, I believe, since the recent update: KB4571756

If I go to Start, the 'active selection' border automatically tabs through my options to the very bottom, interfering with my selections. The same thing happens when I go to use the Calculator app or even when I go to Control Panel to see if I can knock-off sticky-keys or something like that etc. etc. I can use explorer etc. quite normally- but this cycling through options business is quite frustrating. I've tried unplugging the keyboard to see if that helps. It doesn't.

Microsoft Auto-Updates Components of Windows Without User Permission

The nine files that are updated all have to do with the Auto-Updater itself.
The article lists them all. No big deal.

I run auto-update anyway, so BRING ON THE NEW UPDATES !!!
I have yet to experience any problems from MS updates on my XP network.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

MSI 5870 BIOS Update

Still can't reproduce. Could you please post the exact BIOSes that produce the issue?
