Apple is Discontinuing the iPod Touch

The original iPod, introduced on October 23, 2001, was the first MP3 player to pack a mind-blowing 1,000 songs and a 10-hour battery into a stunning 6.5-ounce package.

iPod mini, introduced on February 20, 2004, brought everything users loved about iPod into a smaller design at just 3.6 ounces.

Apple iPod Shuffle

I am trying to get my iPod to mount on a Windows 10 system.

I have read thru and tried many suggestions, but for some reason the driver never seems to load.
I have reinstalled iTunes.
My iPhone mounts fine.

It seems that I just need to find aw way to manually install the driver (if this is possible?)

If I run

%ProgramFiles%\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers

Neither of these drivers are available

usbaapl64.inf

usbaapl.inf

There is no mention of Apple devices in the device manager.

Thanks for any help continuing this process
