    I have found other people with the same error. I have tried the fixes in a different string but I too get access denied when trying to run the bootrec.exe /fixboot . I have created a bootable media USB and boot from the USB but still brings up the same options from . I tried to fix from the bootable media but need my license code. If I could boot up I would have my product key. But no! I have been surfing the Microsoft site and have tried many fixes to no avail.


    The repair option fails. I had a restore file but that doesn't complete either. I was able to get to the command prompt and backup some important files but I would really like my computer to boot normally.

    Blue screens could be caused by problems with your computer’s hardware or with its driver. Still, we
    would like to know more about the issue. Please clarify the following:

    • Did you get a STOP code?
    • Did you install any hardware or driver recently?
