    So, as the title suggests, I have experienced a lot of issues with Xbox's PC app, namely being that I cannot download, uninstall, cancel or pause anything in my download section through the app. Among many of my attempts to rectify this issue, I have attempted to delete the Xbox Games folder on my C:\ drive, only to find out that only System has the right to do that. Whenever I try to change anything relating to the folder, from privileges to existence, I am met with the same message. I have tried all of the thing suggested by a google search, including but not limited to safe mode, sfc/scanno

    Xbox PC App Error

    We appreciate your response and cooperation regarding this matter. Based on your reply, it appears that you need to enable the Xbox services to ensure that the app is up and running. You may follow the steps below to enable Xbox Live services:

    • Press the Start button and type Services on the search box.
    • On the list of services, look for Xbox Live Auth Manager,
      Xbox Live Game Save, and Xbox Live Networking Service.

    The next steps should be done to the three mentioned services above:

    • Right click on the service and select Properties.
    • Set the Startup type to Automatic. If the service isn't started, click
      Start.
    • Save the changes.
    • Launch the Xbox App and sign in to your account again.

    Let us know if you are able to sign in after performing the suggested solutions above.

    Windows 10 Apps not detecting Xbox one controller with usb wire

    If you are still experiencing the same issue after performing the solutions provided, we suggest that you uninstall the Xbox App from the computer and install it back.

    To uninstall the Xbox App, you can follow the steps below:

    • Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.
    • Right-click and select Run as administrator.
    • Type Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage, and then hit
      Enter.
    • Launch Windows Store and install Xbox App again.

    Let us know the result.
