Discus and support i have been experiencing slow speed in copy pasting and extracting files in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; its literally so slow like 100kb/s taking forever for small file like 200Mb to get extracted...     Slow Data copy/paste SPEEDS in WINDOWS 10

    Hello Guyz, I encountered a problem after upgrading to windows 10. I had extremely slow data transfer speed from any storage media. I myself found a fix for it. I didn't have this prob in win 7. I hope that u understand.

    Extracting Zip Files


    Are the step-by-step processes identical? That is, the folder extracted from and the folder extracted to belong to the same hierarchical file system structure. If they are, that suggests mildly the Cumulative Update left an electron or two out of place.

    Extracting files from zipped folder is very slow

    Hi itsron143

    Try just copying and pasting some other large file on your hard drive, does that perform that copy operation at the usual speed, if so, your hard drive is Okay.

    If that is the case, the archive you are extracting may be corrupt

    Are you using Windows own built-in zip file extraction or some 3rd party zip utility?
