I can’t get into my laptop after an update because it is asking for a bitlocker recovery key, but whenever I get to the page in devices that should show me the key, the page doesn’t load. It just says something about troubleshooting and contacting microsoft if this keeps happening. I reloaded a few times, and it kept happening, so I clicked on the microsoft contact link, which was useless. All it did was take me to self help support and none of that was helpful for my situation. What puzzles me is why the Bitlocker recovery key is not listed on the microsoft account, but there is a recovery key listed there for a computer I do not recognise.

I have several laptops but only the HP Envy has had Bitlocker on it. So what key is this on my account? And why isn't the Envy key there?
