Windows 10: I have been lost in the bowels of M$

My account has been corrupted or stolen. I am not able to activate, do an in-place upgrade, use media creation tool or find out why none of these things work. India has been 'sorry for my problems' and eventually they hangup on me, without any solutions or suggestions.


I have a verified valid license for windows 7 ultimate that was upgraded a little over 3 yrs ago to win 10 pro. When update 1803 would not install I got a tech on my computer and he installed the update in Nov. of 2019 I believe. Shortly thereafter I got the message that I needed to activate my machine which had never had a problem with 7 or 10. It had been running windows 10 for a little over two years at that point.

I got on line with another Indian tech. He couldn't get MCT to work either but he did download an ISO which I opted to install to bring it to 1903 and the warning disappeared. An automatic upgrade took it to 1909 and the activation warning has reappeared and nothing will fix it.

I am wondering if I can reinstall my windows 7 and bring it back to windows 10 somehow and maybe fix this, unless my keys have been stolen/hacked.

I'm afraid the license thing will leave me without any computer because it runs fine and update the security OK now. Just won't activate or show as valid anymore.


I have tried all of the suggestions posted on this and other boards. None has fixed the problem yet.

What do you think? Thank you for any info you can provide.

Pentium M

Not sure what I'm looking at. Though when I do go to Options and then CPU it lists my CPU
as Intel Pentium M processor 1.73 GHz, and then under that it lists speed: 799.9 MHz
and then features and cache size.I ran the benchmark test and don't understand all
those numbers, but while testing I checked CPUZ and it still says it is running at 800 MHz.

 

lost files due to fall update

the last time I updated my Windows 10 product ( as suggested by Microsoft suggested ) it deleted my documents, photos, and music files and folders. I lost two years of writing work, I lost old family photos that are irreplaceable. I followed all the suggestion
for recovering my files and so far nothing has worked. Right now my laptop won't even update the Dell updates. Windows can't repair or update again. Sort of going into the bowels of my laptop and risking permanent failure, what do you suggest I do. Always
remember, I am not a programmer, I am not a laptop builder. I am an average person.
