  2. unmountable boot drive (ntfs) blue screen

About a month ago I've bought a brand new 2in1 with windows 11 pro 21h2 preinstalled.

Today windows update prompt me to install v23h2 and I accepted.

The installation frozen on restart at 73%. I shut it down and on restart it reversed the changes and booted again with v21h2.

On the next atempt to install the update, it begin to show a blue screen with the msg "unmountable boot drive" (ntfs).

I tried to fix it by booting from external usb bootable flash drive but when it comes to the first screen of windows installation it shows again the "unmountable boot drive" blue screen so I cannot access the repair option.

Can you please suggest a solution?

  3. Unmountable boot volume - Blue screen error Windows 11

    Hi,

When I recently tried to restart my computer, it restarted, but the lockscreen froze. I turned it off, then powered it back on again, and I received a message saying 'Your PC ran into a problem' with the stopcode: Unmountable boot volume. I searched in net then it suggested to open the advanced options to repair but those options aren't even opening for me.
