Windows 10: I have changed my hard disk i want to install my license version of windows

My old hard disk had got crashed so I have got new hard disk installed on my laptop but windows installed on my new hard disk is pirated I want my license version windows on my new hard diskMy email address is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

"Flavors" of Windows licenses

Windows can be a little "odd" about license keys. There are at least 4 categories:

• Retail
• OEM
• Volume (electronic download)
• Corporate (no key needed)

For guaranteed success, the license key and media should be in the same category. If you have retail media, you may not be able to install it using an OEM or Volume license key, even though the key is valid for that version of Windows. *Wtf :wtf: Apparently, this is part of Microsoft's anti-piracy scheme (i.e., all customers are guilty until proven innocent).

 

Windows 10 license if hard disk is changed?

I have Windows 10 installed in my laptop. Recently it start giving BSOD showing an error "Page fault in non-paged area". I think there is problem in hard disk. If I changed my hard diak, what happens to my Windows license.

 

Windows licensing after hard disk change

Due to some technical problem, I have to change my Hard disk of my HP Notebook. When I bought the laptop windows 8.1 was preinstalled in it, and then I upgraded to windows 10 while the free upgradation period. Now I have the question that after changing
the harddisk, How am I suppose to get the genuine operating system back. (I don't have any system recovery)

I just have the ISO file of Windows 10 which I have put into a DVD. So, after the change of hard disk if I try to install Windows 10 from the DVD, will I be able to get the genuine version automatically when I sign in with my microsoft account to which it
is currently being linked? Or else how can I license it?
