Windows 10: I have Dell latitude 5280 and it has sim slot but I can't see any option to use it

I have Dell latitude 5280 and it has sim slot but I can't see any option to use it

i have a dell e6330 and i recently bought a dell 5280 , the battery hours on the 5280 are insanely long compared to the e6330

my only regret is the 5280 has a ssd which i have read has a smaller life span compared to a sata hd ?

 

sim card internet. No cellular data option in windows11 for Dell Latitude 7480

I've inserted my sim card in to the slot but can't find a cellular option in the setting of windows11. there's no such thing. I couldn't find a driver compatible with latitude7480 using W11 either. Dell support service doesn't suggest drivers for Windows11

Do I need to go back to W10 in order to install drivers for sim card?

The SIM card you need to work on that device is a Mobile Broadband SIM and ordinary SIM from a Mobile Phone will not work on that . . .

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the Network Adapters section

Do your See a WWAN device listed there?

If not while all that model of device will have the SIM card slot, not all will have the WWAN radio installed, that was an optional extra on some versions of that model according to the Lenovo website. . .
