Hi,I use intune to apply all my policies i have disable the lockscreen on my windows device they are all windows 11 i was wondering is it possible to configure the login page so that there is a white banner that displays at the top with the date and time in it. I know its possible my old job had it but i cant remember how.

Banner alerts display time

Lumia 520 and Lumia 435 both with 8.1 and all the updates.

I've had a look through the phone menus and searched this forum with the search term "banner alerts timeout" but couldn't find anything so I'll ask the experts.

Is there a way of changing for how long the banner alert displays on the lockscreen? By the time my wife has reached to pick up her phone after the 'bingly bingly beep' of an email arrival, the banner alert has vanished. It seems to last only a very few
seconds. As if on cue, an email has just arrived on my 520 and the banner was visible for three seconds.

Is it possible to increase the time it displays?

 

Disabling the volume control banner on PC

I understand that you want to remove the volume control banner on your PC.



This issue started after the latest version of Chrome was released. However, we can disable the banner by changing some settings in Chrome browser. Kindly follow the steps below to fix the issue.

1. Open Google Chrome.
   
2. Now type in the following command on the address bar:
   
   chrome://flags/#hardware-media-key-handling
   
3. Under Hardware Media Key Handling select the drop down to
   Disabled
   
4. Restart Chrome

Print Banner

Please help us with the below information to help you better.

• What is the make and model of your printer?
• Is the computer is connected to any domain network?
• Is the printer is connected locally with the system or shared printer through network?

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• Open Devices and Printers.
• Right-click the printer you want to manage, and then click Printer properties. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
• Disable banner sheet - in Printing Defaults (Advanced tab in printer properties).
• Also uncheck "Enable advanced printing features".
