I have dts audio that was preinstalled and come with my laptop but when i reinstall windows it got removed and sound become very low now. Please help !

What exactly is DTS Headphone:X that comes preinstalled with Asus laptops?

I have a Asus TUF Gaming FX505DY Laptop that had DTS Headphone:X preinstalled. I tried using it for the first time. And well, .....

it Sucks!

To be frank I get better audio quality when I disable DTS Audio with only Windows Spatial Sound.

And one more thing, isn't DTS Headphone supposed to be available in Spatial Sounds if it was pre-installed, well there isn't.

I get better audio quality on my phone than my laptop. Any suggestions as to what shall I do to get better sound quality.

And I use earbuds both for my laptop and phone....

The DTS software is likely an audio tuning software that comes preinstalled in many laptops. Even my Lenovo laptop has it.

You can disable it and continue using your laptop just fine.

As for spatial sounds, go to Settings->Sounds->Output->Device properties and you can find the spatial sounds settings available for your laptop there.

Check for audio and other driver updates, that's the only thing you can do to improve your sound quality. Or you can try playing around with your sound tuning software and get a better pair of headphones. That's all.
