Windows 10: I HAVE ENABLED CODE INTEGRITY DRIVER VERIFICATION FOR NVIDIA SYSTEM DRIVER...

I have heared many cases about BSOD caused due to nvidia system driver called "nvlddmkm.sys", all most in many forums and in sites.

i have wondered why that particular system driver caused BSOD . So i decided to know the one of the reasons.

So that i took risk, and i have verified driver verifier options in two different categories


1. i went to cmd ,i typed the following

verifier.exe /standard /driver nvlddmkm.sys

after that i restarted the windows , I didnt get any BSODs


2.after logged in to windows , again i typed the following in cmd, below command is to verify code integrity for particular driver

verifier.exe /flags 0x02000000 /driver nvlddmkm.sys

after that i restarted the windows , I didnt get any BSODs


i am also using latest nvidia driver directly downloaded from nvidia , but i never got BSODs

But some other users are getting BSODs caused due to nvlddmkm.sys,

So please give the root cause of the bsod problems

NVIDIA DRIVER 307.83

The issue still the same.

I went to NVIDIA Web site and they suggested to download a new driver

GE force 353.62. I was able to downloaded but was not able to install it due to:

"NVIDIA Installer cannot continue this graphic driver could not find compatible graphic hardware"

I don't know what to do anymore

Any other suggestion?

Yes, I suggest you to uninstall the NVIDIA driver
and then reinstall the drivers.

Steps to uninstall the NVIDIA driver 307.83.

1. Press Windows + X key.

2. Click on device manager.

3. Uninstall the NVIDIA driver.

Install the drivers in compatible mode and then restart the system once and check if it issue persists.

The Code Integrity component of Windows enforces the requirement that kernel-mode drivers be signed in order to load. Windows always generate Code Integrity operational events and optionally will generate additional system audit events and verbose diagnostic
events that provide information about the status of driver signing.

The Code Integrity operational log includes warning events that indicate that a kernel-mode driver failed to load because the driver signature could not be verified. Signature verification can fail for the following reasons:

• An administrator preinstalled an unsigned driver, but Code Integrity subsequently blocked loading the unsigned driver.
• The driver is signed, but the signature is invalid because the driver file has been altered.
  
• The system disk device might have device errors when reading the file for the driver from bad disk sectors.

You can try the below steps and check if it helps.

  Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press
  CTRL+Shift+ESC.

  Click File > Run New Task.

  Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”.

  Type CMD.
  
• 
  Type the following 4 commands at the CMD prompt:
  
  dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  
  sfc /scannow
