Windows 10: I have formated SSD do I need to re install Windows again?

I was thinking about downloading a different OS but I also had files that need to be recovered. Do I need to recover them with with same OS or different OS works just fine?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Ssd wont format

Hello there. This is Emily.

I assume you are installing from the ISO flash drive right? If so, at the step where it asks you where to install Windows, instead of using the format option, use delete option instead. Delete every partition listed for the SSD. It might say Drive 0 or Drive 1, etc, but you should be able to tell which drive is your SSD based on the size. Once all partitions are deleted, you would be given one unallocated space. That's the one you can select, then click next for Windows to install.

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage
