How do I fix the problem with my mouse dragging across the screen..I've already went to settings Mouse pointer to no avail..didn't have this problem with windows 10..

IMHO Microsoft invented mouse-based "drag and drop" and it worked well up through Windows-7. Since then, it appears that Windows has become more tablet and/or touch screen centric and mouse-based drag-and-drop no longer works. What we all require is a
mouse setting that properly enables drag-and-drop. For example, when I have icons sitting on my desktop, it has become very difficult to single-click on an icon then drag it to the trash can (the file usually opens which is not what I wanted). Like wise, I
need to be able to left-click on text then drag the cursor from x-to-y in order to be able to select the text prior to copying and/or deleting. Since all my Microsoft apps (including Microsoft Expression 4) are broken in the same way, I am assuming that this
is a Windows issue.

Just like many of you I have encountered the same problem The TOUCH PAD Problem
were your mouse delays after you are done scrolling and/or dragging a tab.This problem occurs when
you upgrade to win10. Here's the solution

Step 1: go to DEVICE MANAGER
Step 2: locate Mice and other pointing device
Step 3: show its context(click the down arrow)
Step 4: right click your mouse driver and click properties
Step 5: Go to DRIVER section
Step 6: And hit that darn ROLL BACK DRIVERS
Step 7: Restart you computer
Step 8: If it solved you problem
Step 9: DO A VICTORY DANCE
Step 10: If not
Step 11:
