Windows 10: I have got into difficulty and am receiving this message 'There's a temporary problem with...

I have got myself into deep water with this attempt at updating my personal data. Really it was only updating my personal telephone number to a mobile. My home line has security on it and automatic inwards calls are rejected out of hand. this is no good when that phone is used as an option on proof of identity. The phone security is an issue in many areas of online use and getting into an account management area to update to another phone number is difficult to impossible. The service line provider is the only way to stop / switch off the security and if used the data already gained Unwanted

This did not work.

I am STILL receiving the following error when attempting to reset:

• There is a temporary problem with the service. Please try again.If you continue to get this message, try again later.

The suggestions so far have not helped.

Unfortunately this does not assist.

I have followed Steps 1, 2, 3. When I get to Step 4, I select the Send a code to my phone option (Call ** ******47), I then insert the last four digits of the phone number as requested and I receive the following error:

• There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later.

Please advise.

I am keen to resolve this issue as the answer provided does not resolve.

As outlined above, I have followed Steps 1, 2, 3. When I get to Step 4, I select the Send a code to my phone option (Call ** ******47), I then insert the last four digits of the phone number as requested and I receive the following

Can you please advise how I can resolve this issue to reset or recover the password such that we can log into Windows???
