Windows 10: I have grey X on Adobe and Word files Using windows 10. Need Fix

My adobe reader files and word files have Grey X on them. Need fix

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Adobe Reader not opening

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader DC
and check if it fixes the issue. Follow the steps below to uninstall
Adobe Reader DC:

• 
  Press Windows key + X.
  
• 
  Click on Programs and Features.
  
• 
  Look for Adobe Reader DC
  and right click on it and click on uninstall.
  
• 
  Reboot the computer after uninstall is complete and try to reinstall them.

Grey X on all my files

I have SSHD that has a C: Users/mobil/onedrive folder and all the files pictures, word docs, pdfs, ppts etc are all grey X'ed and will not open.

I recovered the machine saving files and it did not correct the grey X's

any help would b much appreciated.
