I have had a real problem that has been going on for 9 months, yes 9 months of continuous hell. I bought an Asus VivoBook laptop from one of the companies with the following specifications: 256 GB SSD 8 GB RAM 11th Generation Intel Core i3 processordisplay of the problem: The problems were: About the green screen of death, in addition to problems with sleep. Then the issue extended to the system, where it started doing random things, such as opening tabs and applications on top of each other repeatedly, or scrolling pages in a PDF book like crazy, and if I press the search box, it becomes as

Laptop battery worn 9% in two months, is it normal?

I just got a new laptop which is just 2 months old running Windows 10. Today when I checked the battery life the battery has worn down 9% which is like 4.5% per month, in this rate my battery would only last close to two years or less.

What's the average wear rate of the laptop battery? I use the laptop plugged in most of the time how ever let it drain (not completely) and charge it back once in a week. So a 9% drop is like 50 charging cycles which it definitely didn't had.

So this much of wearing is normal or too much? average wear rate of the laptop battery?

Of course this is assuming that the battery was 100% by the time I bought it, being a brand new laptop I assume that it should be close to 100%.

BatteryReport: 25k charging cycles in 9 months !

My daughter run the batteryreport on her graphic tablet (windows 10). The result: 25k cycles, 50% remaining capacity - after 9 months. Now the battery has swollen. How is this possible ? This would make at least 4 cycles/h (if running 24h/day). What could be the source of the problem? The first battery had 55k cycles in less than 18 months and the battery replacement was made by the customer support of the tablet manufacturer.
