    I use little to no RAM and in task manager in the users tab I use a fraction of that RAM percentage. While in my processes tab, my RAM spikes to 50-80 percent. I have tried disabling all startup apps and that had little to no effect, I also tried ending multiple tasks, but my RAM drops back to 60%. My RAM spikes whenever I open an app like Microsoft Edge, it uses about 1 GB while running 3-5 tabs on Edge.Thanks.

    High Ram Usage

    Hi there,

    So this is the problem, From the time I bought this brand new IdeaPad Flex 5 (itlo5) 14" laptop, there has always been high ram usage when I look in task manager. The ram usage has always been around 80%. I have tried to clean install windows (which removes all bloatware from the manufacturer) but there is still high ram usage. My old HP laptop had the same amount of ram as this laptop (4GB) but the speed of the ram was slower. And the ram usage had been lower than this laptop!

    I am not sure why windows is taking 6.4GB of memory I have only chrome running with four tabs opened.

    most of the time i have ram usage like 40-60, but all of the processes are using like 400 mb and i have 4gb ram.
