Windows 10: I have intel i5-7th Gen CPU but Win 11 is not compatible on this !

I have a new generation laptop with 8 GB RAM and intel i5-7th Gen CPU but still my PC is not compatible to update for Win 11Below is the Microsoft Health Check up Screen Shot :

Is windows 8 compatible with Intel Core I3 7th Generation CPU

Hi,

I have a HP 280 G3 MT CPU and I want to install Windows 8 OS on it but HP says it is the OS is not compatible with 7th Gen processor. Please advise.

Win 11 compatibility

That alone is enough to say that the processor is a 4th gen Intel i3, and does not meet the supported processor specs for Windows 11. An 8th gen or later is the minimum requirement. A very few 7th gen have just been added to the list, but it's almost certain nothing older will get in by the release date.

Most of my machines are below spec too, but as W10 is supported until 2025, with a new feature update 21H2 due out shortly, that's not really a problem. They can stay on W10.
