Windows 10: I have issue with pdf file on windows 10 pro

I am unable to open any of the pdf file using Adobe acrobat DC program in the limited account. However, it is working fine in admin account.I have to open the acrobat program then open the files by file menu>open file option which is very inconvenient. I have coral pdf program too, there is no such issues with it. I have set up adobe acrobat as default program and I really like it and do not want to change it. I have reinstalled Adobe acrobat pdf multiple times both on admin as well as child account. However it is not working only in child or limited account. Please help me with it. I am o

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Pdf file

Hello Bhaumik,

For you to download and access the PDF files, please follow the steps below:

• Please download and install the UC browser and Xodo PDF Reader & Editor from Windows Store.
• Once installed, please download the PDF file from a web page using the
  UC browser by tapping the PDF file you wish to download > Click
  Regular Download.
• Once the PDF file is downloaded, please go to App list >
  Xodo application > Menu icon > Recent Documents > tap the
  PDF file you've downloaded from UC browser.

Please note that if you have an existing PDF Reader application installed on your phone, we suggest that you uninstall it first.

Trouble Opening PDF's

Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

• Does the issue persist in Edge browser?
• Do you get similar error when you open the PDF file in Adobe reader?

Check if you are facing similar issue in Edge browser.



Step 1: Open PDF file in Adobe reader and check if you are facing similar issue.



To open PDF file directly from Adobe reader, follow the steps below:

• Open Adobe application and click on Edit.
• Click on Preferences and select Internet.
• Uncheck Display PDF in Browser option and check if you are able to open the PDF file without getting the error code.

Step 2: If you are able to open PDF file in Adobe reader, I suggest you to
Turn off Internet Explorer,
enable it again and check if the issue is resolved.
