Why are pdf files and Word files now being saved to photo libraries? Why are non-document files software eg saving to documents library? Why do I have TWO user names, one numerical?I save to Desktop, and have always avoided the extra steps necessary to open a library. This is like my home real desk - files are stored there, not in some cabinet. Most of my files are on the Desktop, but I recently discovered that many of them are stored as copies? in the photo library - and many of those are NOT photo files but doc files. When I went to the doc folder, I found software and other non-doc

Regarding your PDF documents, the location will be based on where you saved the files. For your second inquiry, your documents can be converted to a PDF. If the original file is from Office Word, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

  In Word, select File > Save As.

  Select where you want to save the file.
  
• 
  Type a new File name if you want.
  
• 
  For Save as type, select PDF.
  
• 
  For Optimize for, select an option: Standard or
  Minimum Size.

  Select Open File After Publishing, if you want to open the file after you save it as a PDF. This is selected by default.

Converting Word files to PDF

When using Windows 7, I was able to save a Word file (using Office 2010) as a PDF file and upload to our website and it worked fine. Now that I have upgraded to Windows 10, when I save the Word file as a PDF file, the graphics are messed up. I took the
same file to a computer running Windows 7 and Word 2010 and saved it as a PDF file and it worked fine. Something quit working when I upgraded my computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Reading pdf files in Word

How can I use Word 2013 and Word 365 to open a .pdf file? If I right click on the .pdf file and choose Open With, no Word exist in the list.
