Windows 10: I have just upgraded from win 10 to 11, I now wish to upgrade my existing m2 SSD any help...

I have just upgraded to win 11 pro from win 10 pro my boot drive is an and m2 ssd 250gb. I have just bought a faster 1tb m2 ssd . I tried to use the "How do I reinstall windows 11 to my newly added SSD without cloning " method using a usb.The option to reinstall win 10 reinstall did not appear, and when I installed the win11 pro from the usb on the new SSD it would not recognise my activation on any of my previous items available, and asked me to purchase it to activate. where have I gone wrong ?Thank you from a frustated but tech savvy old man :

Upgrading an M2 SSD

I'm confused by the drive letters shown.

However, in Disk Management, you can delete F, making it unallocated space. You can then expand E to use that space.

Is that what you want?

If you wish to change the space of partitions that aren't contiguous, that's beyond my experience.

 

Upgrading an M2 SSD

ok, finally got an 500GB m2 SSD, used Aomie to copy my other M2 SSD, but as it larger, it has an extra partition on the end of the drive

is there a way to merge this end partition with the new C drive?

Win 11, second SSD M2 drive isn't showing up.

Hello, I did a new PC build and installed Windows 10 and then right away upgraded to Win 11 and the problem I'm having is my second M2 drive is not showing up when I go to storage settings but shows up in Device manager any ideas?
