Windows 10: I have lost resizing of windows

I have lost the ability to resize windows. When I click on the Restore icon on right of the title bar of the window nothing happens. LOGO-D, which should be the short-cut to move the window to the back, has no effect. When I hold down the left-click on the title bar, the window shrinks, but only as long as I hold the left click down, and I can only move that small window left and right at the top of the screen.


What has happened? How can I restore control over my windows?

• Does it happen only on one application?
• Which application are you having issues resizing or moving?

In the meantime, we suggest you to run the Windows 10 troubleshooter. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key +X, select
  Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to
  Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the
  view all option on the left panel
• Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter

I suggest you to use the Photo Gallery and check if you are able to resize the photos.

Please follow the below steps.

• 
  Open Photo Gallery
  
• 
  Navigate to the folder where the photos are.
  
• 
  Select the photos
  
• 
  Select the 'Edit' tab
  
• 
  Select Resize
