Not Getting Able to Merge Drive with Unallocated Space!

hi,
using SSD,
wanted to Give Space to Drive D.
what i have done is, i shrunk the VOLUME C about 1GB,
and wanted to give that SPACE to Volume D,
but im not able to MERBE that unallocated 1Gb space to Drive D. *Frown ( please help.

 

Shrinking of C Drive is Not possible

i have total space of around 220 Gb in C drive which i would like to reduce and transfer the space to other drive. when i tried the 'Shrink' option, it showed available shrink of around 5Gb which reduced the C drive to 215 Gb.

How to further REDUCE the volume in C drive and Transfer the space to Other Drives?

If C: partition takes up all of the hard drive space; that's it, you can't extend C:

There will be NO unallocated space in C: partition.

You have unallocated space when a partition is deleted, or hasn't been made when there is excess space AFTER C: partition.

Your hard drive would have to be made up of at least 2 partitions to be able to delete one, not C:, and then extend C: into that now unallocated space where you deleted the next partition after C:.

There is no use shrinking C:, as that makes C: SMALLER
