Windows 10: I have messed up my windows and need help restoring it to how it was windows restore...

What I did:I went in to C:\Users right clicked and hit the "hidden box" as shown in screen shot. after this it does something for lots of folders and takes 1-2 minutes to do so.my problem now is if i run any program it simply does not start, for example browser just will not open and discord gets a javaruntime error... no app works that had something in app data. also even paint wont open it says " now please have no microsoft members closing this thread before i mark that it is fixed as i found 2 of the same posts with combined over 400 people with same problem and microsoft closed the posts

Windows XP PRO error after restore

System restore is handy when it works like it did for me 2 days ago saving the need to reinstall all of my software as well as windows, id suggest using norton Ghost 12 for an excellent system restore feature.

Turn off system restore in XP altogether...or if you dont want to, AsRocks suggestion should work :\

 

(MS Word) auto window restoring

Ok, When I have a word file open, i minimize that word window to open another word file. but what does word do?! it opens new word window as well as restores other minimized word window!!! *Bang Head :banghead:
