Windows 10: I have my Windows 11 desktop wallpaper set to "slideshow", and it changes WAY too often....

I can never decide which desktop wallpaper to go with, so I choose the slideshow option. I have a folder with 100-or-so wallpapers, and set up the slideshow to change to a new wallpaper every 24 hours.The problem is... Windows changes me to a new wallpaper a LOT more frequently than every 24 hours. It changes at least 3-5 times per hour, which is annoying. This was a problem for me back when I still had an older Win7 laptop, and It's still an issue in my current Win11 laptop. Since I chose the 24 hour option, I expect my wallpaper to only change once per day, not twenty times.I cannot find a s

Desktop wallpaper slideshow does not randomly select pictures, and cannot change the folder.

I'm using Windows 10, 64-bit.

Over the last few days, I noticed that the desktop wallpaper images do not change to random pictures, but goes in sequence. Also I cannot change the selected pictures folder I want to use for my desktop wallpaper slideshow.

Any suggestions?

 

Wallpaper Slideshow on Only One Monitor

Hello. As the title suggests, I want to have desktop wallpapers that are different on each monitor. More specifically, I want to have one single wallpaper for my main screen, but I want my secondary screen to cycle through a slideshow. Is there a way to
set only one screen to have a slideshow?

 

Bug using slideshow as background wallpaper

I've configured my windows to use slideshow as wallpaper and set the window theme based on color of the background picture. Using windows explorer, when the wallpaper changes if you are navigating through a list of itens then windoes selects the first
item from that list. Its annoying.
