Windows 10: I have no login on my computer but I have to renew my password?!?

Hi. I got a new computer last august and I have Windows 11 Home edition installed. I did not install the OS and the computer came with no login or anything. That is, I turn on the computer and it doesn't prompt me for login before opening up to the desktop. But a few weeks ago I got a prompt about I have to change login soon. I of course ignored it because I don't use that feature.But lo and behold a few days after that the computer decides to scare the all holy out off me and opens up to a login screen and demands I change my login. I of course panic and I don't remember what I did but I thin

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

 

No login password craziness

Brink, that was the missing step. What threw me off was in netplwiz, where it asks about password for my MS account, the user name was not the same as my MS account name. Once I entered the password (twice) I can now login without entering a password. In fact the name that was listed was not the MS account name, but a folder name. The folder is the one that shows when you click on C:\Users.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.
