Please help, There's no wifi icon on the taskbar and I can't connect to any internet even if i have an ethernet cable and if someone said to troubleshoot I did and tried again and again yet nothing it can't find the problem . Please help

Taskbar Icon for WiFi

Taskbar shows a Network Icon which is for connection thru Cable Not WiFi. This happened in the last few days. So it does not show " No Connection". Signal Strength" etc. How can change the Icon Back to original WiFi Icon

 

wifi network list and taskbar wifi icon is missing after windows10 update

after windows10 KB4486561 update my wifi icon and wifi list disappeared. My wifi is working very well though. I tried all suggested solution here:

Redirecting

but none of them worked for me. Also I tried to start "network list" service but it popped up error message and it didn't work either. How can I solve this problem?

How to connect to an existing wifi network?

'Not connected' doesn't necessarily mean the WiFi adapter isn't working, just that you have not yet connected to an available network. If it is working then a list of available WiFi names should appear when you click on the WiFi icon on the taskbar which looks like this

when not connected.


If the list is empty then either the antenna is not connected to the WiFi adapter or the adapter isn't working. This may be a driver problem rather than hardware, so look in Device Manager for any yellow warnings. Also check that the WiFi adapter is not disable in Device Manager.
