i have numerous items on on disk top thet i wanmt tp remove. when i right click nd pick delete it does nothing except copy. i hwae a lot of the items on desktop tht i cant delete . thet are all copies of one item

How to pin app shortcut to desk top?

I suggest you to follow below steps to change pin the apps on the desktop screen and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to perform the below steps to add the apps on desktop.

• Click on the “Start button” and locate the App that you want to pin to Desktop.
• Right click on the “App” and click on “More options”.
• Then click on “Open File location” and right click on the app, click on “Send to” option.
• Then select “Desktop (Create shortcut)”.
• Go to “Desktop” and check whether the app is located or not.

Or Step 2: To add shortcuts to the desktop

• Press and hold or right-click the desktop, tap or click New, and then tap or click Shortcut.
• Enter the location of the item or tap or click Browse to find the item in File Explorer.

Remove item from Favorites List

A while ago I asked how to remove an unwanted item from the favorites list on the Windows 10 and at that point nobody had figured it out. Well I finally know how to do it. Here is how to do it. First open up the favorites window that you want to remove.
The click on the star on the top line. A box will come down and it will say at the bottom of the box ADD/DELETE. Pick the delete button and the item will be removed from the favorites items.

 

Cannot enable TP-LINK W822N on new Windows10 installation

I just reinstalled Windows 10 64 bit after formatting my hard disk, and I'm trying to connect my TP-Link W822N-V2 wireless adapter. The TP-Link utility tool won't work and does not enable any option to be set. Also the tool's tooltip says disabled in the minitray.
The steps I tried:

1. 
   1. The driver and utility tools I downloaded from: Download for TL-WN822N | TP-Link doesn't quite work. The wireless adapter is recognized and the green light on it turns on however the utility tool won't scan for networks.

   2. Right Click enable wireless in networks and sharing center but doesn't do anything.

   3. Uninstall the driver I just installed.

   4. I tried going through the Windows 10 Driver store uninstalling the drivers I installed from TP-Link by doing Update Driver -> Browse my computer... -> Let me pick from a list of device drivers from my computer -> Network Adapters -> TP-LINK Technologies Co. -> TP-LINK 300MBPS Wireless High Powered USB Adapter.

Is there a step or anything else I can try?
