    I have Office 16 installed on Windows 10, need to run Access 2010 temporarily.

    I need to convert the format of an Access 97 MDB file to .ACCDB to be run by my Access 16. But to do that I can only make the conversion with Access 2007 or 2010. My current Access 16 doesn't have that capability. What can I do?

    • Did you have Microsoft Office 2010 starter installed on your computer in the past?

    Mostly OEM computers come with MS office starter pack preinstalled, if you had MS office installed on the computer in the past I would suggest you to follow the steps under the section
    Uninstall Office 2010 Click-to-Run products in the article below.

    I am trying to install Microsoft Access Runtime on my new PC, Download Microsoft Access 2016 Runtime from Official Microsoft Download Center.

    I have however, a similar message when I attempt to run either 32-bit or 64-bit versions:

    Setup Error

    We can't install the 32- (or 64-) bit version of Office because we found the following 64-(or 32-) bit programs on your PC:

    Office 16 Click-to-Run Extensibility Component 64- (or 32-) bit Registration

    Please unistall all 64- (or 32-) bit Office programs, then retry installing 32- (or 64-) bit Office. If you want to install 64- (32-) bit Office instead, please run the 64- (or -32) bit setup.

    I have MS Office 2016 apps on my PC, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, and my PC in 64 bit .

    How can I uninstall the Office 16 Click-to-Run Extensibility Component please? Its not listed anywhere.

    Office 2010 will start but not run in Windows 2010

    I upgraded to Windows 2010 and now all my Office 2010 programs will load but not run properly. Specifically, I can't access the file tab. If I try to access file then the program locks up. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
