    I have problems with error code 0xc0000098.


    When I turned my pc on i got a blue screen with the text: The application or operating system couldn’t be loaded because a required file is missing or contains errors. File: windows/system32/winload.efiWhat do i do now because every time i try to start a game my pc crashes

    Hi,

    The the 0xc0000098 error can appear due to a corrupted BCD (Boot Configuration Data) file. This can be due to a change in the hardware. There is also a possibility that Windows files or the hard drive was damaged on some cases. In this case, we suggest to boot
    from windows 10 installation disc and kindly follow the steps provided by

    After running chkdsk c: /r/x for error code 0xc0000098 - message given failed to transfer logged messages to the event log with status 50, I am now running sfc/scannow any suggestions?
