Windows 10: I have purchased the incorrect Windows 11 product key - how can I get this changed/upgraded...

I purchased the incorrect product key from the Microsoft store - a Windows 11 Home version, however, the version that was installed via Parallels on my mac is a Pro version. How can I upgrade the product key to Pro? At the moment the Home version is not working and I am getting a 0xc004f050 error.Many thanks.

No product key after Windows 10 purchase

• How did you upgrade to windows 10?
• Have you done clean install?
• Are you getting any error message?
• From where have you purchased the Windows 10?

If you have purchased from online Microsoft store or any store I suggest you to contact them for the product key.

Can't upgrade to Windows 11 pro using product key.

I have purchased a new laptop with Windows 11s. I need to upgrade to Windows 11 pro for work. I have switched out of S mode and then used my product key (change product key) to try to upgrade to windows 11 pro. Each time it says it has successfully updated, but then in my settings still says I have Windows 11 home, and i still keep seeing the option to upgrade to 11 pro and change my product key again. Can anyone please help how I can upgrade to pro? Thanks.

 

Get Windows 10 app not responding after changing product key

• Windows 8.1 was with KMS license
• Reserved free upgrade to Windows 10
• Bought Windows 8.1 product key and changed product key via PC info app
• Get Windows 10 app not responding.

Steps tried

• Uninstall KB 3035583 using wusa /uninstall
• Restart
• Reinstall KB 3035583 using Windows Update
• Restart
• Click on Get Windows 10 icon, not responding.
