Windows 10: I have received the “Something happened and your PIN Isn’t available. Click to set up your PIN”

I have received the “Something happened and your PIN Isn’t available. Click to set up your PIN” message after trying to open my laptop. The laptop has my dads email so when I go to reset it I use the password attached to the account and get prompted to show a PIN set to a number. The issue is this number is my Dads old number so it’s not possible to use. I click the “don’t have any of these” option and I am prompted to go to a website. After changing the security into to my main email address it says it will take 30 days to change. How am I supposed to access my computer if I need to pass this

"Something happened and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again". When I click on "setup PIN" it does nothing.

WIN 11 upgraded last night from WIN 10 by itself and now I can't get in to the PC. I only have one profile on the PC and I have tried a system fix in advanced options.

Does anyone have any suggestions?? Please help
