    Thoughts on mp4 Video Editors Please

    Agreed - but there are software packages that are available which are both free and without watermarks - hence the question.

    Thanks. Haven't heard of HitFilm Express - will take a look.

    My initial thought was VSDC Video Editor as several reviews (how honest is anyone's guess) say it is great but isn't the easiest to use.

    Any thoughts on VSDC Video Editor??

    Can't install Hitfilm Express 4

    An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'Microsoft.VC90.CRT,version="9.0.30729.5570",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="amd64",type=win32". HRESULT: 0x800700C1

    That's the error I receive when I try to install Hitfilm Express 4 with setup wizard. All goes well until it attempts to install XAudio2 (Direct X). I've tried everything I've seen on forums and videos. I even tried to install C++ using setup wizard and
    it wouldn't work either. Then I tried to reset my PC and that didn't work either. Any ideas? Any and all help is greatly appreciated I have recently installed this HitFilm Express Video Editor, I've been using this app for... :)

    PC Specs:

    Ryzen 5 2600

    16GB DDR4 3000MHz

    GTX 1070

    C Drive=128GB Patriot M.2 SSD

    D Drive: 2 256GB Samsung SSDs in RAID 0
