    I have recently installed win11 23h2 and every time i shutdown my laptop the up time does...


    have recently installed win11 23h2 and every time i shutdown my laptop the up time does not reset and it seems to also be consuming battery. Is that usual with the windows? I would think its my battery dying but my battery still lasts more than 8hrs when i am using it which means it is quite healthy. Is this usual with win 11 or it indicates something is wrong?

    KB5034123 installation fails on Win11 x64 23H2.

    Hi Christine,

    Thank you for your reply. The machine was recently upgraded to 23H2 from 22H2 through in-place upgrade. I had to use in-place upgrade as the earlier monthly security update of 22H2 was also failing to install as none of the steps as suggested above by you didn't fix the issue earlier. Do I need to run in-place upgrade again?

    Install of 23h2 on Win11 wipes out successful install of 22h2

    My lenovo came with win11 21h2 and has been trying to install 22h2 for months. I finally went through the 15 step process (exaggeration) to fix it and finally 22h2 installed correctly.

    Filled to the brim with hope, I tried the 23h2 install. Not only did it fail, it regressed my back to 21h2.

    So I am officially dropping support of Microsoft. If they can't something simple like an update to work dependably, I don't expect the next release to be any better.

    I have win11 build 22635.3209 ver 23H2 Enterprise installed. error shows ver 22H2, 23H2 unable to install.
