    windows local reinstallation stuck at 88% for 30+ hours

    My D drive kept disappearing and then reappearing whenever I would restart my pc. I tried everything I could to fix that specifically and still couldn't fix it so I decided to reinstall windows since that was one of the suggestions. Now it's been stuck at 88% for 30+ hours. I chose the local reinstall option and to keep my files. I don't know if it's ok to shut down my pc because maybe that would cause some files to be lost.

    Reseting this PC not downloading - download is stuck at 30%

    I've been trying to reset my windows PC after the CPU seriously slowed down and started overheating - it has never done this before, I assume that I have either downloaded a coin miner or been subject to something akin to a DDOS attack - yet I am stuck on the 'Reset this PC' tab, on the 'Preparing to reset' area, where it just reads;

    Status: Downloading - 30%

    This device will automatically restart

    Yet it has been stuck on 30% for about half an hour. I have a very good internet connection and I have checked that this is not the issue. I'm not sure if my CPU is being overloaded somehow and its not able to downloaded or something along those lines.

    Can someone advise me on what to do next?

    Resetting this PC stuck at 36% I have been stuck at 41% for the last 7 hours during PC resetting operation. I just received a old Laptop from Asus and I had barely used it for 2 weeks. I had a couple of files and programs on this PC such as Chrome browser. I made a stupid mistake of resetting this PC before returing this to Asus. I did not anticipate this to get stuck and now its just getting annoying. Any idea when this will complete? Any fixes? I do not have any backups or a second computer to download any thing as some of the posts suggest. OS:Windows 10(64bit) English
