So I want to upgrade to windows 11 only i have the issue to not have secure boot on, but the problem is i have it on in my bios settings but it still doesnt see it. So i cant upgrade

Secure boot not detected by PC Health Check

In my PC BIOS secure boot is enabled along with TPM 2.0.

PC health check will not detect that secure boot is enabled.

I will not upgrade to Windows 11, for a couple of reasons. 1. You are limiting hardware and obsoleting systems unnecessarily. 2. You are limiting use of the system to make it easy for you but not for your customers.

If you health check can't perform correctly how on earth is Widows 11 going to?

I have been trying to install Windows 11 for a little while now with no luck. I'm on a two and a bit year old Asus ROG motherboard, with UEFI and the capability to run secure boot. I have been into the BIOS and made sure that it is active and in the correct mode to work with windows.

Windows, however seems to believe it isn't activated. If I look in the MSInfo32 page it says 'unsupported' under secure boot, but this is obviously not the case, since I have been in the bios and activated it. As such I obviously cannot install Win11 through the health check as it says I don't have secure boot.

To install Windows 11, you will first need to have a compatible Processor, I believe that is the case for you.

But in this case as you have an MBR partition, you will need to delete it, create a GPT partition and reinstall Windows, after successfully upgrading to Windows 11.

After completing the creation of the USB, follow this thread, it is very detailed and will assist you in the clean installation of Windows.

First enter BIOS again, enable Secure Boot, change to UEFI and TPM 2.0 also needs to be enabled, change boot order, and put install USB first to perform clean install.

After that, save the BIOS setup and restart the computer.

When booting from USB the Windows installation will start, follow the thread and clean installation, you will reach the screen to select where Windows will be installed.

From this screen, follow the procedure below.

1. On this screen press Shift+F10 to open the Command Prompt;

2. Enter the commands below:

diskpart [Enter]

list disk [Enter]

select disk 0 [Enter](Change the 0 to the number of the disk you want to install Windows)

clean [Enter]

convert gpt [Enter]

create partition primary [Enter]

exit [Enter]

exit [Enter]

3. Close the command prompt and go back to the installation;

4. Click the update button and the newly created partition will appear, select it and proceed with the installation.

After that, proceed with the clean installation.
