Windows 10: I have some errors when I ran chkdsk on cmd. Is this ok? How can I fix this?

"chkdsk" command on "cmd" showing lots of errors

When we ran normal "chkdsk" command on "cmd" it was showing lots of errors. We ran "chkdsk /f" and scheduled it to run at the time of reboot. We rebooted the computer but it is not running the chkdsk at the time of
reboot. How do we fix it please?

 

chkdsk c: /F

It might be an error on the drive. We suggests that you follow the troubleshooting steps below:

• Run Disk Cleanup utility to clear your junk files.
• Open an elevated CMD type sfc /scannow and hit Enter to run the System File Checker.
  
• Once the scan is completed, restart your computer. Remember to exit ChkDsk
  during boot.
• Next, again open CMD as admin type
  Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and hit Enter to repair the Windows image.
• Now see if ChkDsk able to complete the scan.

Note: Before doing the steps, make sure you save a back up of your files.

According to the information you provided, the chkdsk command has detected the error in your SD card, but may not have been successfully repaired during the repair phase, resulting in no progress. Since you mentioned that you have made a full backup of your SD card, you can try to fix it by following the steps below, but there is no guarantee of 100% success, so please be patient.

1. You can use the Ctrl + C shortcut in the Command Prompt to interrupt the process, and then run the command again to see if it succeeds. Also note that you may run Command Prompt as an administrator, as administrator privileges may be required during the repair phase.
   
2. Since you mentioned that you have made a full backup of your SD card, I suggest you format the SD card and then restore data from that backup. Yes, I have learned from your original post that you want to try to fix it without formatting SD card, unfortunately, according to my experience, formatting is the easiest and effective solution you can consider.
