Windows 10: I have somehow dropped my user folder into my Documents folder!!

    I have somehow dropped my user folder into my Documents folder!!


    Or the other way round to be honest I can't get my head around it.*Sick

    The upshot is that I don't have a c:\users\mike folder any more
    its now the c:\users\Documents folder ! but...... it's not! if I open a cmd prompt in the folder it says it's the c:\users\mike folder and also if I go the properties of the folder on the location tab it says C:\Users\mike !.

    now the other interesting thing is that this folder has a Documents folder in it as well .
    In it's properties /location it says it's C:\Users\mike\Documents.
    confusing isn't it *Redface

    I can't rename this folder back to 'mike' . I haven't tried to delete it because I have no idea what will happen even if I'm allowed to.
    I have backups but I must have done this a couple of weeks ago as when I look through them they are just the same

    I would appreciate some help on this as having a user folder named Documents is very confusing.

    Your response is very amusing. Not only because it's not a helpful reply, but because it mocks two unrelated things, which shows your lack of reading comprehension skills or just ignorance. Adding extra features (new technologies, mouse, start button) compared
    to not allowing the user to have full control of their directory. I love oneDrive, and its integration should be awesome, but having 2 duplicate DOCUMENT folders under the main User and being incapable of removing one of them does not seem helpful.

    But anyway, bravo to you! your condescension should make you feel superior today.

    I understand that sometimes people are feeling down, so by expressing how dumb other people are and how smart you are it can make you feel better and improve your self-esteem. However, may I ask you you do that in another post or website.? Here, I am trying
