    I have the access to my hotmail account but I don’t have the access to my old phone number


    Hey everyone i just updated my bios after i want to enter to windows i get this message your pin is no longer available due to a change to the security settings…. here is the problem i should login with my hotmail account to set a new pin after i login i have to put the 2FA code and I don’t have the access to my phone number anymore? I’ve submitted my new phone number but it says that i should wait 30days to be replaced Pls how i can fix this ?

    Changing Phone number to access account

    Need to access my sons account to change his phone number. Now stuck in a loop as the code is send to the old obsolete phone number. Pls advice.

    Cannot access my hotmail account

    Hello: It looks like I am losing my 20+ years hotmail account. I tried to sign in and I was given a message where it said that I had to verify my password. So as I always I do, I went directly to the hotmail sign in page and tried again. The same thing. So I I tried to verify with a second email. My second email also showed "unusual" activity, so I made a new account and according to MS I don't pass my security questions...which i am sure the are OK. I did this like three time even when I got passcodes everytime. So now I had to go to Texas and I tried the same thing and I was told that the account I am trying to recuperate is going to be closed because of this unusual activity.

    There is no way I can get to my MS Forums and ask there how I can sort this out as I don;t want to lose my account, I have had for 25 years or so....

    My windows ten email account cannot be verified etc...

    I am contemplating do a fresh installation of windows 10 but I don't know what is going to happens since it is registered to the email I cannot access.

    Please help.

    I need to get into my hotmail account, windows sign-in; however, I can't take the normal steps as I do not have access to the 2nd option of verification (old phone number).

    a new account, it is still not allowing me access...HELP...as I need to download apps, etc. from MS Community and need to continue working!! I have been dealing with this all week.
