Windows 10: I have the latest build but it has only partially installed and has messed up my computer.

I have the latest build but it has only partially installed and has messed up my computer. When trying to close windows, I get Update & restart / Update & Shut down. But when I press either, the computer doesn't shut down. I have to use Ctrl+alt+Del the n"Shutdown. If I use Ctrl+Alt+Del and choose either updates, it does not update.Using Control Panel, "Check for updates", I am logged out of control panel. The partial update has affected only parts of the OS, because I am able to open programmes without difficulty.

Might I suggest you simply build a computer, making notes and taking pictures step by step. Most people (probably including your teacher) have no idea even where to start building a computer. You'll do fine, and if you get stuck we're here to help ya out! *Toast :toast:

Unable to install latest insider preview build

Hi,

Currently I am on 14986 build and unable to install the latest build and keep getting the pop-up message to install the latest build. As I am trying to update the build but it's keep failing and getting error. Is there any direct link to download and install
the latest insider preview build. Please give any suggestion to help me out.
