It happens with some popups Including the startup Microsoft Login - sometimes as well as SOME App's menus. The menu text and icons are about 20% of normal size and there are no program settings that allow for increasing the size!Taskbar - notice that last two items!!Normal App program menuProblem example issueI am a developer

  2. File Sharing between homegroup computers using Win 10 and Win 7

None of he suggestions offered have solved he problem. However, I found out why I was not able to see the Window 7 PC folders on my Win 10 laptop. It was all related to the difference in how you find a computers on a homegroup. As it turns out, the
Windows 10 menu structure for getting to the Network is different between the Win 7 and Win 10 operating systems. The homegroup computers can be seen on the Win 7 buy going to Network and File Sharing on the Control Panel and by clicking on the the House
Icon between the Win 7 PC icon and the Internet Icon. These icons are not part of the Network and File Sharing menu on Win 10. Instead, the homegroup computers can be found on the Network icon under the Computer Menu on Win 10 computers. Once I found Win
7 listed under the Network Icon on the Win 10 computer I was able to access all of the shared folders on the Win 7 PC.

    Win 11 nagging issues

so I upgraded from Win 10 Pro to Win 11 Pro several months ago. 21H2 22000.856.
I am having issues that I can't explain.
    1. If a Windows update is available for installation, many programs won't start and other issues that make the computer unusable. This started in Win 10. Installing update and restarting fixes it.
    2. A few apps won't close in taskbar. I can close the app, but the icon remains in the taskbar and does not function. Reliability monitor shows the app as shut down unexpectedly. No evidence of it in Task Manager processes. Restarting computer restores taskbar to normal.
Having the icon in the taskbar may affect other icons... right clicking does nothing.
Also right clicking the Start menu does nothing. Also CTL-ALT-DEL does not bring up that screen with Task Mgr, etc.
    3. Time and date sometimes wrong in taskbar. Tried some online recommendations but no help. Restarting resets to proper date/time.

Switching from Win 10 to Win 11

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll be getting new MB and CPU when I move to Win11. And I always do system volume image backups after I successfully update Windows so no problem there *Smile. Cheers!
